At St. Martin’s Cathedral in Gander, on the 19th of June 2024, The Rt. Rev’d John E. Watton ordained The Rev’d Gerry Poirier and The Rev’d Stella Mills to the the priesthood. Both clergy have served as deacons in the Diocese of Central Newfoundland prior to their ordinations to the priesthood. Rev’d Gerry and Rev’d Stella will continue their ministries in the joint Parishes of Twillingate – Gander Bay.
