Despite the stormy weather on Christmas Eve in Western Newfoundland, at St. Matthew’s Church in Rocky Harbour, Emily Payne and her baby brother Max came with their family to church to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Emily celebrated in a big way when she walked to the front of the church building, holding baby Jesus, and carefully placed him in his crib while everyone sang the carol Away in a Manger. It was beautiful!
