On Sunday, June 22nd, St. James’ Church in Port aux Basques had a service of prayer and praise followed by a potluck luncheon in the Memorial Centre. This was to wish the Rev’d Jane Allen, priest-in-charge, and the Rev’d Faye Coffin, assistant priest, a farewell on their retirement. It was also to thank them both for their ministry to St. James’. They will certainly be missed, but we wish them well in their future endeavours.
