On the 17th of March 2026, the Rev’d Kenneth Abbott celebrated 67 years of ordained ministry serving our Lord and faithful Two priests at the front of a church: on the right a man dressed in a purple chasuable holding a certificate; on the left a woman dressed in a white alb and a colourful stoleparishioners. Archdeacon Charlene Taylor attended the service on the 22nd of March, representing the Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador. It was a beautiful service and a very inspiring message from Archdeacon Charlene. Rev’d Abbott continues his service in ministry as the Priest-in-Charge in the Parish of the Holy Cross, Norman’s Cove.

Clergy from various parishes attended to honour him on this special occasion.
