On September 28th, 2024, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, St. John’s, held a special dedication for its Ocean Health Labyrinth as part of the Legacy Labyrinth Project. The congregation was pleased to have their friends, Chris Katzenmeyer (director of the Legacy Labyrinth Project) and Sue Cummings (lay minister), join them for the service and dedication. The theme of this labyrinth, “Ocean Health,” inspired local artist Dominique Hurley to create a piece titled Into the Sea of Infinity, which now hangs near the labyrinth in the cathedral’s south transept. The painting honours God’s creation, and beautifully reflects the “Ocean Health” theme.
