On Sunday, June 26th, Bishop Sam Rose visited St. Mary the Virgin Church in the Parish of Heart’s Content for the sacrament of confirmation.
Congratulations to all who were confirmed, and all good wishes as you continue to grow and in the faith of Christ.
It was a bittersweet day, as their parish priest’s retirement was announced at the same service. The Rev’d Gloria Wendover will be retiring in August, and she will be moving to Ontario to be closer to her children. We all wish Rev’d Gloria all the best on her retirement and thank God for the time that she has spent with the Parish of Heart’s Content.
