On Sunday September 22nd, a service of Choral Matins was held at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in St. John’s to mark the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The service was attended by Her Honour, The Honourable Joan Marie J. Aylward, O.N.L., Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and The Royal Canadian Air Force Association 150 (North Atlantic Wing).
