During the winter months, the ladies of Holy Trinity Church, Grand Falls Windsor, accepted the challenge towards healthy body, mind and spirit by knitting, crocheting, and quilting baby blankets for newborns in the North. We were able to focus on a healthier body—by doing; a healthier mind—by concentration; a healthier Spirit—in using our talents to help those in need. Blankets were blessed by The Rev’d Cindy Graham at a Thursday morning communion service. Thirty blankets were shipped in Nunavut.

Also included with this gift to the North were many caps for newborns which were knitted by Mrs. Douglass Frampton, a woman from the same congregation who is 92.

At the top of this page is a photograph of the blankets and caps before they were shipped off to those in need.
