The ACW Ascension district branch meeting, which was held on May 25th, at St. John the Evangelist Church (Gillams, Parish of Meadows), had 58 members in attendance. A service of Holy Eucharist was celebrated, and a delicious turkey dinner was served by the men, followed by the annual meeting and election of officers. The guest speaker was Clare Phiri, wife of the Rev’d Mikton Phiri; also in attendance was their 18-month-old son.
