On October 9th, 2021, family and friends gathered together at the community hall in Gillams to celebrate the 95th birthday of Mrs. Hilda House of Gillams. A wonderful party was held.
Mrs. House is the oldest resident of Gillams, and is the oldest member of the congregation of St. James Anglican Church, also in Gillams.
She is still very active—she loves to knit and is an excellent cook. She makes the best apricot pie ever.She misses her weekly card games with her friends these days.
